BRITISH BULLDOGS

Sophie (Murieston's Sophie At Mattbridge) is a lovely girl however gives us grey hair in the show ring as she is such a live wire. She only needs a couple of points to be titled however we will wait until she is an old lady before getting those. In the meantime she loves to play with the others and teach puppies all they need to know about the world. Sophie has produced a beautiful litter of pups of which we have kept three pups from the litter. We took Sophie down to the Specialty show in May 2011 for an outing and she won Brood Bitch under Judge John Williams from Netherlands.

Sally (CH Mattbridge My Enigma) is the daughter of Zulu and Pipi. She is now in pup to Boss (Aust CH Craghyde I'm The Boss Mystyle) with her first litter. We are hoping for some nice show pups from her in the next few weeks.

Sam (Mattbridge's Masterpiece) - is the litter sister to Sally and has very similar markings and a lovely personality.

Thorne (Stockton Bear Bear Again) is half owned with Sarah Baker. Thorne has excellent Australian and New Zealand bloodlines and is probably the most beautiful brindle girl we have had the pleasure of owning.

Daisy (Stockton Hevnz Sent) is the litter sister to Thorne and is a lovely white and deep red brindle girl. She has produced a very lovely litter of boys of which Madiba was the pup we have kept for showing.

Diva is the 'mad hatter' of the kennels - a total nut case going full speed ahead all the time. She is a wonderful brindle and white girl with a great personality who we have grown very fond of.

Candy - is a red and white girl who moved to the farm early in 2011. She has a lovely body on her with great movement however has never been in the show ring. She loves to play all day and runs around chasing the rabbits and birds.

Snuggles (Mattbridge Snuggle Bug) so aptly named by our children is the daughter of Sophie. She loves cuddles and is a big charmer. She is a lovely red and white girl very similar to her mum.

Jarnah (Gotabull Jarnah The Great) - another white girl but with red patches is a lovely tidy bitch with lots of potential. She is however quite timid and thus difficult to show.

Maxi (Mattbridge Mad Maxi) - Is a beautiful brindle addition to our farm. Maxi is from Pipi and sire is BIS BISS NZ CH Stonewall The Duke "Max" who is a multi show winner from Wellington. Thanks so much to Loretta Lovell and Frank Muncey for giving me the oportunity to use Max. Maxi has started her show career and is doing very well with only a few more points needed to become a Champion.

Nandi (Mattbridge Chaka's Nandi), Georgie (Mattbridge Chaka's Intombi and Lola (Mattbridge Lil Lola) are all from Sophie and Zulu's litter. Georgie has done very well in the ring winning Best Baby Puppy at our Speciality Show in May 2011 under specialty Judge John Williams from Netherlands and Puppy In Show at Southern Bulldog Club in Nov 2011 under judge Stanley Shen as well as almost having enough points to become a champion at the age of one. Nandi will start her showing again this year once Georgie is titled.

Salt (Mattbridge Simply Salt) is one of the new baby pups in the house. She is a beautiful white girl with lots of potential. She won 1st place in the Puppy Stakes at her very first show in 2011 and has had 3 Group wins in Baby Puppy Class. She has now moved to Puppy class so will need to mature a little before we expect her to shine.

Lady (Mattbridge Leading Lady) started her show career last weekend and was quite afraid of all the people and dogs about the place so she will be eased in gently this year.

Pipsqueak (Mattbridge She's The One) is the naughty terror of the house. She is great fun so I wonder if I will ever be able to show her.... but we'll have to try!

FRENCH BULLDOGS

Mia (Petite Jolene Of Mohau) is a black and fawn brindle with excellent bloodlines. She hates the show ring so is seldom shown which is such a pity however she has produced her first litter with BIS RBIS RBISS NZ CH Frogwyck Lefabien Warfare (Imp Aus) who is an outstanding example of the breed. Thanks to Vanessa Joyce for allowing us to use him for this mating.

Alice (Mattbridge Puzzle Pieces) is a pup from Mia's litter. She has a great black mask and we are looking forward to watching her grow up and do some showing.
